About the Author:
Zdenek Gola (b. 1929) graduated from the Janáček Academy in Brno and taught violin at the Ostrava Conservatory. After relocating to Sweden in 1966, he enjoyed a successful career as orchestral musician, concertmaster, soloist, and teacher. His pedagogical writings are widely respected throughout Europe.
